Mulder Church is seeking our next full-time Director of Media and Communications. Amazing
things happen at Mulder Church. We need someone gifted in media and communications to
help us tell the stories and create supporting and engaging content. We are a Global Methodist
Church in the fast-growing community of Redland in Wetumpka, AL. As our community is
growing and changing, our church is also. In the past year, we have added a third worship
service to make room for more individuals and families. The ideal candidate will have a passion
for using digital media to communicate creatively and effectively, desire a Christ-like working
environment where people are valued, be a team player and team builder, be able to work with
minimal supervision while being part of a collaborative team, have attention to detail, desire
growth both personally and professionally, and will have education and experience in the field

PAY CATEGORY: Full-time Salaried
PURPOSE: To oversee and produce the audio-visual aspects of church ministries as well as
digital communications.
REPORTS DIRECTLY TO: Senior Pastor
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma and experience with digital media production
and social media. Ability to collaborate effectively with staff members to identify and provide
creative digital support for their ministries.
PREFERENCE GIVEN TO: Applicants with college degree in Media and Communications or
related field, skill in graphic design and videography, knowledge of ProPresenter software, Final
Cut Pro or similar video editing software, knowledge of Microsoft 365, and knowledge of social
media best practices.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Establish and nurture good working relationships with staff members and volunteers to
promote a spirit of teamwork in the church. - Work with staff and ministry leaders to define, develop, and effectively communicate
messages to church-wide and specific audiences. - Manage Mulder Church brand to ensure consistency, presence, and quality.
- Provide audio/visual production and support for worship services and special events.
- Cultivate, lead, and manage a team of volunteers to assist with audio-visual ministries.
- Create sermon series media content including series bumper videos, series graphic, and
weekly sermon slides. - Record, edit, and produce weekly announcement videos for Sunday worship.
- Develop ways to creatively communicate our church “stories” through all media such as
event highlight reels, ministry celebrations, testimonials, advertisements, and other
special projects. - Monitor and maintain the church website to ensure up to date information.
- Create and maintain Mulder Church social media strategy.
- Manage audio-visual technology budget and be responsible for church technology
equipment, recommending upgrades when appropriate. - Performs other duties as assigned
Compensation includes competitive full-time salary commensurate with education and experience, health insurance, retirement contribution, professional development, and paid time off.
Nursery Staff
Nursery Staff
Mulder Church is seeking to grow our nursery staff. The nursery staff position is a part-time
position, on average 10-15 hours per month. The wage is currently $14.25 an hour. The primary
hours are on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings with occasional special events. Mulder

PAY CATEGORY: Part-time hourly
PURPOSE: To provide safety and care for children 6 weeks – 5 years old in the Mulder nursery.
REPORTS DIRECTLY TO: Nursery Supervisor
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be 16 years or older, profess the Christian faith and have a
growing relationship with Jesus Christ, and have a positive attitude that enables you to work
well with others.
PREFERENCE GIVEN TO: Applicants with previous experience in childcare.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Establish and nurture good working relationships with staff members and volunteers to
promote a spirit of teamwork in the church. - Oversee, hold, play with, console, and care for children 6 weeks- 5 years old in the
Mulder nursery. - Change diapers.
- Clear background check and comply with church safety policies.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment for the children you are caring for.
- Be willing to work in any of our nursery rooms with any of the age ranges listed above.
- Lead a simple, age-appropriate Bible time for the children.
- Communicate clearly and calmly with children and their parents.
- Maintain CPR certification (if one is needed, the church will help provide).
Traditional Pianist
Traditional Pianist
Mulder Church is seeking our next Traditional Pianist. Mulder Church is a Global
Methodist congregation in the fast-growing community of Redland in Wetumpka, AL.
Our traditional worship service is at 8:00. This Traditional Pianist position will normally
play two or three Sundays a month with weekly rehearsals on Wednesday evenings,
accompanying our Worship Choir as well as congregational singing. Currently, the rate
of pay is $75 per rehearsal and $150 per service. The ideal candidate will have a strong
technical proficiency in playing choral accompaniment arrangements as well as special
services like Christmas and Easter cantatas and familiarity with playing hymns for

PURPOSE: To provide piano accompaniment for the traditional Worship Choir, congregational
singing, and other aspects of the traditional worship service.
REPORTS DIRECTLY TO: Traditional Worship Leader
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be proficient in playing hymns and choral music.
PREFERENCE GIVEN TO: Applicants comfortable with a wide range of playing styles such as
lively and energetic pieces, pensive and reflective pieces, gospel songs, hymns, anthems, choral
pieces, and cantatas.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Establish and nurture good working relationships with staff members and volunteers to promote a spirit of teamwork in the church.
- Coordinate with the Traditional Worship Leader regarding music requirements for worship services.
- Rehearse with the Worship Choir weekly on Wednesday evenings.
- Play preludes, postludes, anthems, and special music during worship services as needed.
- Support Traditional Worship Leader in planning the music for traditional worship services.
- Play for special events such as cantatas.
- Practice sufficiently outside of rehearsals to play and accompany properly.
